Happy.

by cbr

"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” Sitting in my dorm with only fake multi-colored florescent candles and a laptop screen to light the room. I am doing Calculus on the top of my bunk bed and I am happy. Happy to be alone with only myself as company. Happy to be breathing and anxiety free. Happy that for once I actually understand what I am doing. Happy because finally after all my hard work it is beginning to pay off. So remember next time you are sitting in the dark that even the smallest amount of light is needed to create happiness.
