Be Careful, Be careful
on Halloween
For Something is Waiting
Black, slimy and mean.

It hides in the shadows
Blends into the night
Watching and Waiting
Well out of your sight

It hungers for humans
So soft plump and yummy
And can’t wait to get you
Right into its tummy

Its teeth are so sharp
Its nails like knifes
And its singular plan
Is to **** out the lives

Of each passing ghoul
Drunken and costumed
And acting the fool

So be careful, be careful
On this Halloween
Stay away from the shadows
Stay away from the dark
Or the only thing left of you
Will be that small mark

And your friends will all say
What happened? Where’d he go?
and way back in the blackness
The dark thing

He’ll know
