I'm Nothing Without You
Nothing's ever as bad as it may seem.
I'm glad you're right here beside me.
Our eyes to slowly bond.
Too heavy with pride to see.
*Chorus-
'Cause I'm nothing like I use to be.
I say, oh. Sadly it's true.
There's something I've been meaning to say.
Baby, I'm nothing without you.
I'm surprised you haven't even able to see.
That you bring out all the good in me.
Every time we seem to meet.
My heart skips a single beat.
I want you to know not one day goes by.
Without you in the back of my mind.
I'm keeping my head held high.
To have you look me in the eyes
'Cause I'm nothing like I use to be.
I say, oh. Sadly it's true.
There's something I've been meaning to say.
Baby, I'm nothing without you.
Should I even stick around?
For something real to happen?
I can't be waiting around for long.
I have some opportunities going on.
I'd rather wait to be found.
Instead of the one looking around.
There's much more time to think.
Sometimes people need their space.
One day I'll be lifted off my feet.
Like beauty and the beast.
We'll all find that one love soon enough.
I just hope by then I don't give up.
Keep your head held high.
Fate works in mysterious ways.
Sometimes it takes time away.
To fall back together.
Every little thing points right back at you.
What's your remedy to curiosity?
We are all so insignificant.
So what's your true integrity?
Open your heart & mind to see. Life ignites at our first story.
