Poems
Jan 2014
Perpetrator
This thick skin
has grown heavy to carry
I am not equipped
to act as Im uncaring
I long for the warmth
my fiery passions once provided
as my heart grows cold
and my outlook one sided
I **** at the smoldering coals
trying to rekindle a flame
in my soul
any flame. . .
of which I could not tame
