What I think about you?
Why would you ask?
I'm sure you already have an idea
I mean isn't it pretty obvious
They way we talk
They way we act around each other
I know I shouldn't care
but I do, I do care about you
More than I wish I did!
I was thinking maybe if time were stopped
but isn't that crazy,
But then again crazy ideas are my favorite
They are the only ideas that have no limits
Not like the ones that are expected from us
I remember the last time someone told me,
That it was dangerous to think in a certain way
I remember one day when I at school
Overheard a couple teacher talking about those
"dangerous ideas"
Where we could begin a revolution
Nowadays we can say what ever we want
For we have the freedom of speech
But then why don't we stay quiet!
But that's not what you asked!
You wanted to know what I think about you
I think that you have a voice
a voice that can make a difference if you let it try
I think that there is a way for success
without having fear and I know you know that too
I think that you are stronger,
much more than what you were raised to believe
I think that you don't have follow society's guidelines
After all it is a free country
Right?
We should be able to make a difference in the world
Right?
We should be able to see justice before our very eyes
Right?
Then why don't we
I think you can be the next Martin Luther
Or Nelson Mandela
Or part of the army that rescues the next generation of Jews from a holocaust
And if you die trying...
I remember we talked about this before,
if you died trying to make that difference
You said that it would be a fight fought in vain
I didn't think so the, I don't think so now!
If we die fighting that will show them
Those who look up to you
That what we were fighting for was the right thing to do!
They will truly see that what the world expects from us,
isn't what we have to expect from ourselves
And that will make them FIGHT!
I think you are capable of winning that battle, if you just kept trying!
A little more
A little harder
But most importantly with more faith!
And if we die fighting for The right reasons,
For the name of Jesus
Then, Ill see you in heaven walking through the roads of gold!
