I stand alone through scorching sun and acid tears
Open the floodgates, let it pour.
I'll face the murky onslaught,m
mouth closed, eyes open.
For a second, I saw the bottom, now, it's filled to my knees with water.
Water, it was only water.
It comes and it goes.
It's here, then it's not.
