You are nothing but a dream
Now that you have gone
A dream that I never wanted to wake
But fate stuck his cold hand in
And you left
Not a word why
Just like my dreams
I woke to find you gone

Each night I try and recall
The smell of your hair
The spark of your touch
The warmth of your love
But all I can recall
Is nothing compared
