The floor of the forest was sprinkled with leaves
Nothing was about me but the tall bare trees
You could hear a crunch with every step I took
The lightning flashed, the clouds shook

The moon began to rise with the glimmer in your eye
The smile on your lips calmed the storm in the sky
The forest was illuminated and soon became bright
My heart jumped alive, my eyes regained sight
