I used to think I was different
Beating the status quo
But now I'm not so sure
The more I see of people, the less I know

I used to read of people
Those bright and unique
More than the average
You meet on the street

I've done things in my life
To set myself apart
Just to make a difference
Just to make a start

I think we all struggle hard
To give ourselves a name
We can all be different
But we're all the same
