I adore you
The soft curve of your lips
The words that fall out of them
Clumsy and awkward
And the way they part
Just for me

I adore you
The way your hands fit mine
The same ones that play trumpet
Beautiful and moving
And the way they become gentle
When in contact with me

I adore you
The way your eyes fill with wonder
Even when your brain is clouded
Brown and wonderous
And the way they look
When they're looking at me
