The stars shall weep tonight
and feel my aching heart
that longs for you
And every passing moment
feels like an eternity
For without you
time has no importance at all
Not even the beauty of the moon
can relieve me from my despair
Not even the hymns of a thousand minstrels
can bring back the merriment of my heart
For my soul is left empty and desolate
and my skin barren and cold
deprived of the warmth of your touch
and the tenderness of your embrace
My love, the stars weep still
as they bear witness to my anguish
and the moon failed to offer solace
   For only in your presence
   shall I feel wanted
And only with the sound of your voice
   shall I be at peace.
