Madness
It's off this madness that we feed
Our thirst quenched only by desire
Today we'll let the carnage bleed
While we twirl downward towards the fire.
It burns society with ease
As people scurry all around it
A faceless mob eager to please
A shallow pool to **** the numbness.
She passes through the crowd alone
She doesn't stop to hear the whining
She doesn't want to hear them deond
On about life and love and dying.
All she can see is through the fire
A man so desperate for her touch
So dying just for her desire
A simple glance would be too much.
