I've traveled the whole world from point A to point Z I've seen the sky from the white clouds to the black starry dreams I've climbed all the mountains from the trees to the white tip tops And I've swam through all the oceans from the sky blue surface to the black deep dots
I wont lie and say there is so much more to see Because I will confess, all there's left is negativity And, im angered that we cant all love each other Simply because I'm me and you're you, and yes there's a big difference
From wars full of hate Where children can't sleep for days Where the sound of bombs is hateful music to their lonely ears Where children cry hopelessly for the night of the demise of their misery
To poverty of the majority In worlds only a few miles away Where you turn on the news Ignore the thousands of lives lost and turn to some comedy
Because you're afraid of the sleep you'll lose if you watch Others in sorrow crying for the love of each other Because you believe you can't make a difference in lives But can you really look me in the eye and confess to those lies
To ignorance of the people, saying "So What?" To hundreds of children dying daily To when an icon dies the whole world in sorrow is asking why so lately Simply because it's easy to turn off the news and cries And a pleasure to log on Facebook and pry
Because I've seen the whole world from here to there I've traveled through space and seen the reverse of the moons dark face I've marched through mountains, deserts and valleys And I've swam through all the oceans just to form a rally
Nothing comes from nothing, and nothing ever could Because I wake up every morning not scared of death but scared of living And while thousands climb a mountain for the world to see them Only a few climb a mountain to see the world for themselves
You can try to be happy yourself, but what about happiness of others Because I simply can't live knowing that somebody somewhere is living less better I'm making it my mission to bring a smile to those children's days Because I know that if I can't at least go help one on one Then I'll start with what I have today
And you may not see today as I do Simply because I climb a mountain to see the world And maybe so do you But that dosen't makes us all any less human Just because I'm me and you're you
