Dec 2013
Suffocating winter darkness,
Creeping in post haste tonight.
Bringing with it bags of wind and rain in buckets.
Not quite here just yet.
But well on it's way.

Yet still that voice.
A cherished bird tweets.
A lonely song.
Thought his song long since past,
Believed migrated.
This evergreen bird.
Unseen but heard.
And still the world revolves.
