I have known you forever,
And sometimes you are sitting right in front me
L I T E R A L L Y
On my livingΒ Β room floor
In the passenger seat if my car
In my work place waiting for me up at the bar
But this world holds us back,
We don't know how to act
We don't know what we see
Or how to perceive
So we continue in our every day motions
With what the world tells us go with
How to flow, with what we think we know
I'm aware, and it makes me scared.
All I want to see is you,
Even though these tacks restrain me back
In the back of my mind, I still do.
