Looking past

As time flows around

History steps out of bound

As we try to gather in memory

All those things that made us happy

But what makes us happy really?

Is it money, or maybe some sweet honey?

As we try to figure it out

We're missing what's life really all about

All those little things that make you smile

Every single moments that was worthwhile

All those things you only remember

Once all is settled and over.

But why can't we live happy

With what we got already

We try to make our life better

By changing what really matters

Maybe it is destiny

Maybe we just like to be in agony

But no matter how we loose it

One day or the other, we regret it

The only way to learn

Is by making those stupid turns

And go off the road, untold

What is about the be unfold

No such thing as a time machine

No such thing as a medicine

Time can't even cure this disease

Nothing can bring you at ease

In the end we all finally know

Thru this road we weren't suppose to go

And that we'll never be as happy

As we once used to be.
