Dec 2013
That fragile smile of yours
Eyes glistening in the wind
A whisper thrown into the sea
My hands quiver
I can see right through you
More and more
I can feel your presence
It burns into the back of my skull
Crying
Only see what you want
My thoughtless words
They agonize your soul
Why?
Sometimes I believed in us
Back when the smile you shined down onto me was real
“Please don’t leave”
You whispered carelessly into my ears
Those thoughtless words tortured me
The past can’t be forgotten
And in my fragile state
Only time will tell.
