Poems
Dec 2013
Marshlands
Bull reeds
and culverts,
tall and golden
sweet grasses and such.
Azure,
December droplets
of glittering star shine.
A walk along
the flood plan,
wondering why
houses breach
the swamp and sky.
Why is it that
some fools
build houses here
knowing full well
you're in for a flood
every spring when the snow melts.
