We had our laughs, maybe we cried, but I hope our reason to be was to make an old tick die. I wanted you to feel, to see with your own eyes, what it was to be free.

Never a safe goodbye, though things have been cleared, our words can only express our troubled hearts.

So how does it feel? To find the unexpected in the expected? When someone finally let’s you down. I have to leave us behind, to take you with me and have some dignity or peace of mind.

That’s how things last. That’s how things always last.

We had our laughs, maybe we cried…you’ll look back and see that for us to last we first have to come to past.
