Dec 2013
Like a pitch black cloak,
Greed envelopes me.
Far too often,
I expect so much more
Than I am entitled to.
I get my hopes up,
Selfishly latching onto whatever I want.
Any fantasy I have,
I try to make it reality.
It's my ambition and the need for more that guides me.
It does not matter how hard I work,
How much I deserve it.
What matters at the end of the day is only that I get it.
