Getting a Laugh

Melania spoke at a military Mother's Day event this week. Was what she said about Donald Trump Really meant to be tongue-in-cheek? She said that Trump is a strong leader. (Is that comic damage control?) Then she went on to add, however, "His empathy transcends the role." THAT got a laugh from the crowd, it did. Surely the comment was made in jest. If she was being serious, It was a vain attempt at best. Maybe she's trying to compensate For Kimmel's "expectant widow" joke. Whatever the case, the silly comment Is something that she cannot revoke. She has learned from the best, of course: Tell a lie so frequently That like-minded fools will eat it up And see whatever you want them to see. -by Bob B (5-8-26)
