Backing a Madman

"A feeble-minded, trigger-happy man." That's what folks are calling Donald Trump-- Except for sycophants who sing his praises In an attempt to kiss his royal rump. When receiving updates on the war, Aides cannot tell Trump what he must know, For he gets so enraged since he's unstable. It makes you wonder who is running the show. Trump says the war is over and then back on; He says the strait is open, and then it's closed. The more he rambles on nonsensically, The more his utter madness is exposed. The loss of lives, destruction, and economic Upset in the world don't worry him. He is more concerned about his ballroom While he fills his coffers to the brim. "Never before have we seen so little effort To hide so much corruption" a senator said When discussing the Trump administration, Where grift and money-grabbing is widespread. Republicans could easily put an end To all the chaos--now! this very hour!-- By being less afraid of Trump's disdain. But they would rather hang on to their power. Stability, security, and freedom Are all in jeopardy. So sad to say. Do Republicans in Congress even Care about the people they betray? -by Bob B (4-21-26)
