I am a contortionist
I twist and turn to become what you want
I am a puppet
On a string
I dance to your music
A caged bird
who sings on command
A show girl
that performs for you nightly
Think maybe i'm jaded slightly
I'm a porcelain doll
who sits upon your shelf of life
collecting dust and if you were to take me down to play
I may just break
I'm starting to crack under all this pressure
I'm liked a buried treasure
that everyone seeks but never finds
But if someone did I would surely shine
