Take the words I left in the air and swallow them
Carry me around with you even after I go
I once thought life was for loving,
But what the **** do I know?

Try to focus on the good times
How soon we seem to forget
Remember me in black coffee, flowers, books
Please don't look back in regret

Consider the odds we were up against
Tell me you think we'd have won
Always so sure of what I can't feel
I tried and tried but had to run

I guess we all have our habits
Heard they're what makes life so fun
But have you seen me lately?
I think I've come *undone
