Im On My Way To Emerald Bay

Close my eyes

My mind can play

Dreams flash of our Wedding Day

Life to reveal Love fulfilled

Bruised hearts finally healed

“Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-a-Dee-ay

My oh my what a wonderful day

Plenty of sunshine coming my way

Zip-a-Dee-Doo Dah Zip-a-Dee-ay”

I’m on my way to Emerald Bay

My memories have much to say

Young love we grew Strong

Crazy in love all day long

Memories Flash before me

Snapshots to cherish and see

Our forever love can be seen

The Mind a beautiful Time Machine

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah-Zip-a-Dee-ay

My oh my what a wonderful day

Plenty of sunshine coming my way

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-a-Dee-ay

I’m on my way to Emerald Bay

To visit our love, time has faded away

Wide eye Newest my love could do no wrong

I saw our love in every movie and 70s song

My heart skips a beat, my handsome man is fine

Love deepen with time as a fine wine

Enamored by the statue of my gorgeous man

I couldn’t believe He took my hand

The new love, excitement melted in fervor

Through the years each other‘s life preserver

Some days it’s seize the day “carpe diem”

Other times our ancient love is in a museum

“Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-a--Dee-ay

My oh my what a wonderful day

Plenty of sunshine coming my way

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-a-Dee-ay

I’m on my way to Emerald Bay

I close my eyes and drift away

The cherished words, we both did say

Promises made, and kept in every way

I’m on my way to Emerald Bay

waterfall glistened by the setting sun light play

An Eagle and a Hawk danced in the sky

Watching rainbow trout swim by

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-a-Dee-ay

My oh my what a wonderful day

Plenty of sunshine coming my way

My oh my what a beautiful day

We were married by the waterfall at Emerald Bay. 10 years later, remarried in Caesars palace Lake Tahoe. 33 years in church . As was all things love starts strong, hot and heavy, but through the years life takes love to a different place. Most people become disillusioned with the loss of heated romance. Marriage is a lot of work after all its a delicate dance.
