You spoke to my dad and asked for my hand

You said the right things I thought it was grand

You swore to love me for the rest of our life

You asked me to marry and made me your wife

Frustration and anger took over your soul

You've blinded your heart to our ultimate goal

Wife number four is out the door

Wife number five has come into sight

It's sad you think so little of love

Each wife fits you just like a glove

They pay your bills and when you're done

You just move onto another one
