Yet
Man-made,
On sand,
Where falls and failures return.
I deserve no second-chance, no forgiveness.
Yet, You are my Redeemer.

A valley of shadow,
A valley of death,
Where darkness and pain linger.
I deserve no help, no light.
Yet, You guide me.

Mountain tops,
Eagles' wings,
Where power and majesty present.
I deserve no sight, no view.
Yet, You are my Vision.

Still waters,
Green pastures,
Where love and joy reign.
I deserve no rest, no peace.
Yet, You carry me.

*****,
Gomorrah,
Where evil and lawlessness abide.
I deserve their judgment, their punishment.
Yet, You are my Savior.

Tarshish,
Bushes,
Where cowardice and disobedience go.
I deserve captivity, shame.
Yet, You set me free.

Egypt,
Babylon,
Where idolatry and hardness live.
I deserve enslavement, the Nile.
Yet, You are my Rescuer.

Heaven,
Hell,
Where life or death eternally exist.
I deserve the second.
Yet, You are my God.
