I don't Mind
Living with mice
As they scurry
Across the floor
And they hide
In the corner
By the door

They have nothing
To fear from me
Though at times
They can be
So annoying
They keep me
company when
I am lonely

I don't mind
Writing poetry
That nobody
Will ever read
It's just that I
believe  it is
important to me

And I don't mind
Being lonely
I have my books
And memories
All of my dreams
That can never be
