It kissed him in a way that no-one ever could.
Love is power.
Not heart corrupting.
Lost feelings erupting.
Be not afraid,
My  dark deep distant warring soul.

Love protects and lifts the scared and sacred ones.
Human form ecstatic.
If the form is right.
Drifting on a lonely river.
Doesn't keep you warm at night.

Enough to raise a smile.

Raises odds.
For more just a hint of happiness.
There is more to life than living wholly alone.
Hold my heart in your hands.
Give it a massage with tenderness.
Walk not down the lonely road.

A duet of poetic diversity.
Far apart, still in distance.
For as long as need decrees.
Close in  both heart and mind.
Take another look.
See what you can find.
Not all humans are monkeys.
One or two are kind!
