Dear St. Christopher
listen to me
I need your help
on my journey.

I am not religious
nor practice the part,
but you seem caring
even though were worlds apart.

I wear your necklace everyday
because my father does too,
I wear your necklace because I'm afraid
of the dangers coming on cue.

You're the saint of journeys and travels
which life it is itself,
it's long and strange like a path
I hope you lend me help.

So dear St. Christopher give me help
for the problems that may come,
I love you though I do not know you
your soul should help me some.

I believe souls can help
as much as you help me,
I remember that time I did not wear your necklace
the trouble; oh I believe,

You keep me safe and more
through my troubled times,
you helped me stay off drugs
and helped me manage my time.

So today I still wear you
like I wear my pride,
modest yet consistent
I know you're on my side.
