Just been for X rays
I tried to feel the radiation
As it fell on my body
In that three second blast
Or whatever it is
I commanded my cells
To vibrate
Or pulsate
Or whistle
Or whizz
The feeling
Up my brain stem
To see what
Radioactivity gives
In terms of sensation
And impact on your bones
But I just felt nothing
Did it leave me alone?
