Wrap me in a blanket of you,
steady, near, unshaken.

Wrap me in a blanket of peace,
soft as night, quiet as breath.

Wrap me in a blanket of lightness,
lifting sorrow, easing weight.

Wrap me in a blanket of protection,
keeping me safe,
holding me whole.

Wrap me in a blanket of love,
warmth that lingers,
a shelter that stays.

And when the morning comes,
let me rise still wrapped,
carrying the threads
of you, of peace, of light,
protection,
and love.
