Scattering wishes and prayers
Be a muse for my affairs
To fashion on a whim
Walking down the spiral stairs
A labyrinth to weave through
Surprises every turn
Whether I’m on time or not,
is none of your concern
do as you wish
Come and go as you please
For it’s you after all
That you must appease
Wish on a prayer
Whisper it to the breeze
Then be the reaper
And reap, sow, and seed
or seed, sow, and reap
Until it’s time to sleep
Then rest your head on a soft pillowed bed
