She tells me that i have no feelings
That I'm like a stone
With no heart
Cold as granite.

Even though I tell her that I love her,
she does not care.
I am ice
She says.
And it's true.

You are not like a burning fire
That throws sparks in every direction.
You are more like an oven,
Dark, heavy and with thick walls.
Cold as steel
As she reminds you.

You can not see the fire.
But it is in there.
You listen to it slowly chip away at each branch that is thrown into it.
And you can feel the warmth.
You know that there is something in there.
Something that, is going up in flames.
It will never burn you
But it will carry you through each cold winter
