Don't you dare.
How cruel it is,
To swear your love upon someone,
Then leave them because of a cliche
"If you love someone, let them go"
Don't entertain me with that *******
I do not wish to hear
I do not wish to see
You and all of your self-righteousness
Don't you dare tell me
That you did this because you love me
Don't you dare romanticize
That you're doing this for my own good
Because you're not.
You are letting me go,
Not because you love me,
But because you love you.
