Involuntary Autobiographical Memory, 2008
Sometimes we'd arrive at work at the same time
and I'd always be plugged in to my white
headphones, fresh from an mp3 trawl
That morning he caught up with me as
we entered the packed lift 'Hey Lee
what are you listening to today?'
I thought about making something up
but just answered 'Psychedelic Horseshit'
2nd floor
3rd floor
4th floor
and he never asked me again
workplace memory
