Record breaking wind speeds
Rip my thoughts away from me
Replaced by doubts and regret

Mother Nature cannot be tamed
So I am always whisked away
No matter the amount of love I get

I’ve embraced everything about myself
Constantly giving from my own well
Maybe I should accept this too

My mind resembles tv static
But now it’s not so erratic
Whenever I’m thinking about you
