I walked in to find you amongst dreams in my bed,
All else was foggy, I thought I was dead,
Without lust or worry, I slid under a sheet,
And cradled you until I fell asleep,
I held you softly, listening to each breath,
And prayed to hear you in Heaven upon my death.
