It was never your face, nor the light you wore,
Not choices made, nor paths before.
They say love for a soul may last till deathβ€”
But eyes, once loved, outlive even breath.
The shades you held, emotions untamed,
Like oceans deep, unnamed, unclaimedβ€”
And I, the fool, would drown unblamed.
