I saw her there,
Running ahead.

A smile as she brushed her hair,
"I Love You" she said.

I was able to experience so much,
In a time lost to dreams.

Throwing away the crutch,
Doing better it seems.

I know I'll never have that one,
Though the dream was pure joy.

All natural fun to I run,
I'm not a boy.

I grew up quick,
I lost my mind.

Made myself sick,
Misery to find.

I rose like the pheonix,
To set myself free.

I use no tricks,
Just want you to see.

My love is pure,
Though you would never guess.

Of that I'm sure,
It was all a test.

Though the pain left scars,
I now live free.

I'll be with the stars,
You'll remember me.
A love only experienced in dreams it seems. But you will remember me
