Scared to close my eyes
That I might lose control of me
If I don’t wake up
Well, what then will I see?

Stay up until you forget to care
You wake up, glad you’re still there
And from my sleep, I lose track of time
Each waking hour reflects my will to stay alive

My biggest fear is death
A thing that I once sought
