i looked in the mirror
the mirror stared back, blankly,
but it couldn't fool me.
i knew it thought thoughts too,
or at least,
saw them?

i looked up at the sky
the sky peered down at me, too
i wonder if i by chance could dive into the clouds
and fall through the atmosphere, and
plummet into the earths orbit,
if i'd sink forever?

and, perhaps, eventually reach the other side of the mirror;
the one no one could ever see.
