Nov 2013
she ran for hipbones
and sunken cheeks
she ran until her skin cried
tears ran down her arms
her legs, her face, her neck
her body cried for more than
what she let herself eat
it cried for love
it cried for tender kisses
it cried for a soft bed
it cried for a small break
and a good meal
but it kept running
