I loved you
Like fire that brands,
Like a sea of flame and glasses of sand,
Like galaxies that breathe and holes that mend.

And I loved you
With my body and soul,
With all my beliefs and brokenness whole,
With faith on the edge, ready to fall.

And I lost you—
A void that consumes my dreams,
Broken words stitched into bed seams.
Maybe I loved for two
And got hurt for three.
I only know How to love like this
