I love to watch you when you read,
Its golden tale through make-believe.
A silent spell, a mystic said,
That dances softly 'round your head.
Your eyes move slow, the pages turn,
And in their stillness, worlds do burn.

You say no word, and yet I hear
The hum of peace, your soul's voice is clearβ€”
Your kindness speaks in quiet ways,
Like moonlight on dark days.

To sit beside you... nothing moreβ€”
Is love, is hope, is ancient lore.
It is the sun that warms the stone,
The night that lets the stars be known.

No need to talk, no need to move,
Just being here is more than proof.
You read and pull me like spell you sang.
Every day with you I fall in love all over again
