I said the words in the wrong way
What my heart wanted my lips couldn't say.
She read words, but not my soul—
Now silence carves a deeper hole..

I wanted to run until she reached my sights,
Collapse into her arms as I kissed her goodnight
Apologize with aching eyes,
No need for words, no need for lies.

She is a wave I cannot flee,
A love too hungry, it swallows me.
Each breath I take, I fall again,
In bliss and blessed rain.

She is my gravity, my fate—
A black hole dressed in something great.
Love described in heaven's Gate
She is my duo, my love, my soulmate.

I love her. Fiercely. Wild and true.
And if she knew....God if she knew—
She’d see the boy behind the mess,
Just begging for one small "yes."
