gliding through the hush of night
no shades, our hearts entwine
silence wrapped around your finger
you don't know what you might find
when you come and lights reply

your skies spoke soft and dear
a sound so clear, I never thought I'd hear
and all the castles I built inside
all the walls I hung to hide
came crumbling down and roaring tight

a sweet relief
summering the rain
a symphony my soul won't ache

colors bloom when none had been
starry skies came fading in
a song that's mine that grew in spring

in morning bloom I swoon anew
petals born in gentle light
I pine for glances across the room
where laughter makes the world spin right

breeze stirs my core to yearn
for hands not held yet
and every breath, and every sigh
resonates like sparks in your eye
falling in love in spring, when flowers and our hearts bloom
