I stumbled across
Your shredded heart and soul
I sewed it up
I fixed the holes,

As I sewed it up
I pricked my fingers

To fix the holes
I needed fabric

I cut fabric off my heart and soul—
Breaking mine to repair yours

Sacrifice after sacrifice
You did not care,
For when you recovered,
You turned your back
Leaving me.

Leaving me torn,

Torn in shreds.
