the night sky never looked pretty again,
the stars began to look as if they're staring at me,
while i cursed myself and let the tears rain

that haunting silence of midnight still pulls at my nerves,
a feeling i just can't shake off
years have passed but i'm still stuck in the same paradox

we used to look at the stars
and define our future,
but mine holds darkness- like a void in space

our stars were never meant to align
they distanced themselves,
as far as there is just silence between them
