A thin layer of dignity is swept off her skin like it has no place else to be

It doesn’t belong on her, it’s a foreign body it chemically doesn’t align

She has fallen into a wilderness of empty rooms and dark hallways, chasing her tail through a thick bountiful maze with only the spark of hope she one day could erase this part of her chapter

A crushing weight on her chest slowly making her minuscule, she keeps running as her frame gets lighter heavy from the peculiar dna that has been embedded on her.
